Inquisitor is a comprehensive set of tools developed to help us extract a wide range of contents from Web pages, such as images, video, audio, archives, HTML links, text, documents, etc. We can also use this program as a regular web browser, for navigating the Internet - moreover, it can be used as a so-called offline browser, making it possible to download any selected web page and view it afterwards in its original design, without sacrificing any contents.
This application features a context-sensitive GUI with many options. The interface can be set to a standard Browser, an HTML scanner, or an FTP client. We can import/export bookmarks, manage files, take screenshots of web sites, freeze URLs, load and play saved files, etc. The "Preferences" menu lets us disable images, animations, sounds, and adjust various HTML options. When surfing the Net, we can zoom pages in or out and even view the current connection/transfer status.
This program runs under both Windows and Linux systems.
